Help resume livelihood after Irma

A Norwegian young couple and their 6 year old daughter left their house and jobs in Norway to follow their dream, to move to St Thomas and start a small business. This business was to run vacation homes and make it affordable for families on the US mainland and Norway to have the vacation of a lifetime on this paradisiac island in the Caribia.

Irma hit Saint Thomas hard and rendered their livelihood useless. They now need resources to make repairs quickly, so that they can remain here with their new lives. The Blue Sandcastle is a very solid and robust concrete building, and Øystein spent the week before Irma hit to fortify it so that they could shelter people in it. They also used their other houses to shelter people, both during and after the storm. Øystein and Ingrid are very resourceful people and they are aiding others right now in every thinkable way. Their homes is now functioning as a place of rest, food and water for others who have lost their homes. Øystein is a very skilled carpenter, mechanic and custodian and he is now out working to repair aggregates, busted doors and windows, cars and water supplies to get people going again.  

This fund will be used to support this work, and also to rebuild and repair so that they can resume their lives and livelihood there.
Insurances will not cover these losses as the deductible for the insurance is around $100000. Their business is still very young, only three years, not nearly enough to have this kind of coverage yet.  

I am a friend of them in Norway and I will help them in every way that I can, but I can not do this alone. If they don't get immediate help and resources, they are forced to leave and return to Norway with empty hands. They did what most people are afraid to do, uprooted them selves to follow a dream. They had everything planned, but they could not plan for this monster hurricane, not like this.
