Help researchED bring evidence into the classroom

researchED is a non-profit, volunteer run global community of educators dedicated to improving the quality of evidence we use in the classroom. For too long, education has been based on hunches and intuition. Its time to start making use of the best evidence bases we have, in order to improve the lives of children, especially the disadvantaged and those who need education the most. 

We build amazing days where teachers, leaders, academic, researchers and many more, come together under one roof to discuss and scrutinise the latest and best evidence bases available. A truly democratic experience, these events see ministers and teaching assistants speaking next door to one another, and creates powerful opportunities for learning, growth and sharing.  We believe it is time for education to become free from superstition, dogma and myths. Students- and staff- deserve nothing less. 



Since 2013, we have seen over 20,000 unique attendees in 12 countries and four continents. Everyone, from the director to the admin, gives up their time for free to make these days happen, and speakers and host schools waive costs in order to support the greater good they bring. 

We've managed to do so much with almost nothing. So far we have just about broken even with ticket sales (at deliberately affordable prices) and event-by-event sponsorship. Our ambition is to start to build a small core team who can run these days, and our website, so that we can grow, and offer more free resources and low-cost days to the education communities. Your donation would fund the time of this core team, plus help us to rebuild and maintain our website, which is crucial for sharing free resources from these days. 

We believe that we are on the edge of an evidence revolution in education. But it won't happen by itself. Please donate to our project, and help us help teachers, schools, and most of all students. And help us to keep our independence.  


We'd be deeply grateful for any assistance you can give, because while all of our efforts are done for the greater good, it is often desperately hard for an entirely volunteer-driven organisation to be sustainable.
