Help Replace Tom's Gear

As many of his friends have now heard, Tom McElroy had all of his camera gear stolen out of his truck in Santa Cruz last week.  Worth over $7000, that gear was Tom's livelihood.  Tom has documented his world travels, taken amazing photos, and made unique and popular YouTube videos with this gear:

After spending the last week looking for the gear, plastering town with posters and talking with Police, sadly it seems that all this stuff is gone for good.

I know there are a lot of "causes" out there - we get inundated with them every day on social media.  Tom himself was too proud to post this himself feeling that there were "bigger and more important" things to donate to in this world.  And sure, there are many important causes.  But sometimes we need to "act local" and just help out a really great guy that is down on his luck. 

Tom is a great guy, a great friend, and an AWESOME photographer/videographer.  It would be pretty awesome if we could all help him get back on his feet here so that he can continue his life path.  Thanks for considering.  100% of funds go straight to Tom.  If by some miracle the Police find the equipment in the future and return it to Tom, he's promised to refund everyone's contribution.
