Selena Zenefski yes they could collect unemployment. But, people like bartenders and waitresses don't have high wages in any establishment such as this. They are dependent on tips. Therefore, any unemployment benefits wouldn't even come close to what they were making. If people would step up more we wouldn't even need unemployment. That would reduce the size and scope of our government and we would ALL pay less taxes. Furthermore, if you look at the goal of this it is only $2,500. How far is that going to go split up among all the employees? You are correct in assuming that the owners had insurance. But, a claim of this nature can take many months to obtain. It can take YEARS to rebuild after and event like this IF it is even feasible to do so.

Why are we asking for donation? Shouldn't this Establishment have Insurance? As for the Employees they should have had Taxes taken out of there Checks which would of entitled them to unemployment. Sorry if this sounds rude but truth is truth. Sorry

This Go Fund Me is for the employee's who have lost their wages due to the fire at Tubby's. At this time we are not sure if there is going to be any benefits for a rebuilding of Tubby's. The owner's are still in shock at the loss of their amazing establishment, the moment that the Tubby's family gives the ok... The Central Pa Music Scene is ready to go with a few fires already in the making for a few benefit gigs. Our local scene is a tight family and Tubby's has always taken care of others, it's time to take care of own. Tubby's will rise again with permission, we are just waiting for the green light from the Tubby's Family.

This is from the band Steel. We couldn't play any benefits due to prier commitments. But we wanted to do our part to help out. I had to use my information to make the donation as it wouldn't allow me to make it as Steel. But, this is from the entire band. and not me individually.

The loss of Tubbys feels like the loss of a great friend to so many. We're just heartbroken. We'll all hold our memories close of the friendly, welcoming atmosphere, awesome owners & their staff family, great bands, great friends, so many great times! The BEST place around to unwind after a long week, to be yourself, hang out with friends and get your live music on! Thank you all for the memories... <3

We love you all at Tubby's so much!! It breaks my heart knowing I won't be able to go out to my favorite place when I get some free time. So many great & fun memories made there! You all have been there for me during the hardest time in my life, even holding a benefit for Azalea after Randy passed away. You all have always made me feel like family, welcoming me with a hug every time I walked in! Tubby's was so much more than just a bar to so many of us! Please let Justin and I know if there is anything we can do for you and we will do it in a heartbeat!! We are hoping to make it to as many benefit shows as we can. Love you guys! <3
