Help Rebuild Newcomb Park Primary

On the morning of 25 January 2017, the school community woke up to the news of someone deliberately trying to destroy the school. They succeeded. The perpetrators took to attacking the newest section of the school and managed to burn down 3 classrooms with adjoining offices. Our school assembly was also held there with amazing audio visual equipment ... a lot of it destroyed. Thankfully the community has turned out to help and even on the first day we have received a lot of help to convert old classrooms and house temporarily the returning junior students and teachers. Thankfully we started school.  But, we still need more help. The insurance will cover all main structure needs. But it's the little stuff such as the readers, the dolls for anxious ones to hold, the animal shelters, the little soft chairs and bean bags, the little tents and  other miscellaneous products we know is not going to be covered or at least covered straight away.  Equipment especially bought via school funds or purchased via fund raising may not be covered.

There are some of you asking 'What can we do to help?' ...well you can(!) All we ask is to pitch in and I will personally thank you for ur kind donation. No donation will go unnoticed and will be reported to the school exec. We are a small school, and although this will be a major setback, there is enough spirit and passion to keep us striving to achieve so our little people can thrive on a great education and a happy school life with us.
