‘Ralphie’ is a ten week old Labrador retriever puppy who was abandoned shortly before Christmas.  He was found in the middle of the night covered in mud,  and was brought to the Fairfax city  animal control holding facility at Town & Country Animal Hospital.  The vets there examined him and discovered he had a loud heart murmur,  which may be why he was abandoned.    But otherwise he is a healthy and happy guy!  He’s such a sweet puppy and full of kisses ♥️♥️♥️

 The vets town and country are working with the vets at CVCA cardiology and we were able to diagnose him with a genetic heart defect called a PDA.  This is a serious defect,  but surgery can cure him and he could live a normal life!   Ralphie is currently staying at Town & Country  while we try to raise the funds for surgery.
