Help Pugsly

Pugsly is our 11 year old Pug we are trying to make sure that his last couple of years are healthy and happy ones. Recently we noticed overgrowth of his toe nail and after
Speaking to a vet we were told that the nail has split and would need to be cut down frequently but after a
2nd opinion we were told that the condition could cause other infections as well as cancer if not removed. We were informed that the minor surgery would cost about $900. Any help would be more than appreciated.
