Hi everyone!

Because of the overwhelming and positive interest in the work that I do around special needs pets, I have decided to start a small business as soon as I can. Over the past year and a half, I have had the great pleasure to work with several kittens thanks to my friend Hannah Shaw aka Kitten Lady. Together we have created an adaptive walking device and a custom megaesophagus feeding device. Since then, I have been able to create a few other devices for animal shelters around the world, and I have found my true passion for helping animals using the skills that I have gained over the years.

What is Megaesophagus?

In simple terms, megaesophagus is like a deflated balloon in the esophagus of animals. It unfortunately gives animals decreased to absent mobility that is required for moving food and liquid to the stomach. This forces them to feed upright as seen in dogs, or at a 45+ degree angle as shown in the picture above for cats. Before the Mega Feeder 3000 was developed, there were no devices that could support feeding MegaE cats. Cats dislike being contained in devices such as Bailey's Chair for dogs, so this makes it easier for them to be comfortable while feeding.

I will be using your generous donations to kick start this business by obtaining a small business license, creating a logo, and securing shipping methods. I will also purchase a 3D printer to both prototype and produce these devices for the animals that need our help. 3D printing technology has great potential to help out animals in need, especially with the way prototypes and models can be made quickly and relatively cheaply and tailored to the animal's individual requirements and recovery.

So many animals with disabilities or special needs are euthanized before they are given a chance at life. I'd like to hopefully make a small impact on changing this.

I am highly motivated to get started, and I would be extremely grateful for any donation that you give. Thank you for reading!
