Eddie Wesselhoff's End of Life Costs

Dear family and friends,
As some of you may know, our dad, Eddie Wesselhoff, was diagnosed with liver cancer in September of 2018. As of April 2019, there are no further treatment options, and Eddie will be returning home to receive comfort-focused hospice care.
Our family is grieving, but we are also reaching out for help during this time.
As our dad enters the next stage of his journey, there are several costs associated with providing the quality care that Eddie deserves.
While insurance has covered many of the costs, there are several necessities not included. Our wonderful mom, Annie, has taken leave from her job to be dad's primary caregiver, standing by his side since the moment of his initial diagnosis. Unfortunately, these costs are not covered by Medicare, and carry a large financial burden for her that we are hoping to lift. The costs include:
-Medical equipment (shower chair, toilet assist bars, bandages and wound dressings)
-A wheelchair
-Transportation costs between the hospital, rehab facilities, and home
-Travel and hotel costs to visit the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX
-Gas for driving between our home in Conifer and various medical centers for appointments
-Day to day costs such as food during travel
Additionally, this money will help towards end of life costs like cremation and memorial arrangements.
As you can imagine, this has been extremely difficult for our family. All we want is for every second with our father to be filled with love, joy, and laughter, and your help with these costs ensures that we can make the most of what time is left.
