Help Our Band Attend The Worldstride Festival

The Albany Community Charter School Music Program is participating in the WorldStride Heritage Festival on April 24-28th 2019 during our Spring Break in Orlando Florida.  This event takes place within Universal Studios. Band students from our Elementary and Middle schools have shown acceptional perseverance and motivation to commit to this unique experience.  While attending this festival program  students will receive:

Positive constructive adjudication with written and recorded comments from a panel of three nationally acclaimed adjudicators.

On-stage mini clinic with Nationally Recognized Band leaders

Professional performance recording

Free high school academic credit for our middle school band members

Park Passes to Universal Studios Orlando

This experience is headed by Mr. Dwayne Bass and Mr. David Gordon, two General Music/Band educators who take extreme pride in servicing this 90% free and reduce lunch demographic. With a strong focus on excellence, these two educators encourage students to strive for the impossible no matter what and to “BeYour Best” regardless of social circumstances.
