Help Noah's Ark Stay Afloat

Donation protected

Noah and Adrienne were waiting for the call.  They had cleared all the paperwork and were just waiting.  They were waiting for the call that would make them a mom and dad.  Adoption is such a great gift and they were ready and excited to give it!  And what great parents they were going to be.  Just like any parents, they had dreams for their son or daughter and they were ready.

What they weren’t ready for was a cancer diagnosis for Noah.  On December 26, 2018 they heard the words colorectal cancer.  The cancer was in his spine, lungs and colon.

The cancer was discovered when he went to have an MRI due to some back issues.  He is a postman and walks his route so he thought it was related to that.  When he got into the MRI machine, he moved his leg and felt instant and unbearable pain in his back.  HIS SPINE HAD BROKEN! For two hours he had to lie there in excruciating pain because they couldn’t bring metal into the MRI Room to get him out and stretchers are made with metal. They had to take apart the MRI machine to get him out transport him to the hospital.  It took two days to stabilize him and that is when they got the news of his cancer.

And that is when the adoption plans were put on hold as well.

Noah’s back healed and this marathon runner and avid hiker decided to go back to work at the Post Office to deliver mail.  He was receiving chemo at the same time but he was determined and was back on the streets of Cromwell, CT!  But with the chemo and continuing back issues, and after he had given it his best shot, he had to tell them he just couldn’t do it.  Leave without pay was his only option.

And that is where you come in.

Noah is a giver!  Remember, he got all those animals on the ark!  :)   But seriously, he was a middle school math teacher, he mentored kids in a YMCA program, donated blood all the time and in typical good humor he jokes they don’t want his blood now.  He works with AA and is an environmentalist.  And as said previously, he is a local postman.  He is so friendly to all those on his route and we miss seeing his smiling face in town.

So let’s help Noah and his family stay afloat.  There are so many out of pocket expenses he has to endure and while it is hard for him to accept the idea of asking for help, he wants to get better more than anything.  He needs to use his energy to fight this and not be burdened with the stress of worrying about money.  With your help we can pay the co-pays, costs for medicines and travel expenses and more.  Together, we can help this wonderful man fight this terrible disease.

I must add, Noah shared that while having cancer is awful, he is so touched by people who he knows and by those he doesn’t know who have reached out to help him.  He can’t believe the outpouring of love and support. <3

Let’s join together to help Noah set sail to cancer free!  Let’s come together and show him how much we care!  Let’s help him get well so he and Adrienne can become the wonderful parents they were meant to be!

Thank you and peace, prayers and blessings to you all!
