Nancy ha ayudado a miles. Ahora, necesita de tu ayuda para salvar su vida.
Nancy fue diagnosticada con cáncer de mama y recientemente, evolucionó hasta llegar a su sistema nervioso central y aparecer un enorme tumor en su cerebro que la coloca en riesgo de sufrir en sus funciones básicas y el resto de sus órganos.
Como es bien sabido, en nuestro país es toda una proeza poder conseguir medicamentos, realizarse exámenes médicos, pagar gastos de hospitalización y afines, ya que no disponemos de seguro médico con cobertura suficiente de este tipo de padecimientos y requerimos pagar casi todo en moneda extranjera.
Es por ello que requerimos de todo el apoyo posible para poder cubrir los gastos de su sanación, lo que incluye una cirugía final para poder extraerle el tumor en su seno y además, cubrir unas sesiones de radioterapia en su cabeza y luego, mama.
Sobre Nancy:
Esta madre y abuela venezolana es una mujer sumamente dulce y entregada a su país. Tiene 65 años de vida y de esos, 50 (o más) se ha dedicado enteramente a construir el futuro de miles de jóvenes venezolanos que han pasado por sus aulas. Ella ha sido un ejemplo para todos, de lucha, de bondad y de inmenso amor por quienes le rodean. Ha sido confidente, defensora, orientadora y una madre, para todos en la familia, así como para un montón de rostros ajenos que, probablemente, no podremos calcular jamás.
Hoy, después de apostar por la vida de tantos, es ella la que necesita de otros, pues está librando una difícil batalla en un país que, además, está lleno de inmensas dificultades.
Ustedes tienen en sus manos la posibilidad de hacer que Nancy siga contando su historia y con ello, la de muchos otros a los a los que seguramente, siempre seguirá brindando su apoyo incondicional.

Nancy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and we need all the support we can get to cover the cost of her treatment: chemotherapy (we need the drugs for her chemotherapy within a month and that has to be purchased outside her country, Venezuela), medical exams, x-rays and CT scans, diet, vitamin supplements, transfers and a final surgery to be able to remove the big tumor that today threatens our hope of having her with us for many years.
Nancy is 65 years old and 50 (or more) of those years she has been entirely dedicated to building the futures of thousands of young Venezuelans who have sat in her classrooms.
She has been an example to all, of courage, kindness and great love for those around her. She has been a confidant, a protector, a counselor and a mother for everyone in the family, as well as for many other people who we will probably never be able to count.
But today, she is the one who, after betting on the lives of so many, needs others to bet on her life, as she is fighting a very hard battle in a country that, at the same time, is full of enormous difficulties.
Today you hold in your hands the possibility of ensuring that Nancy continues to tell her story and with it, the story of many others to whom we are sure she will always continue to give her unconditional support.
