Help Mr. Musick get Back to School

On July 13th, our Dad aka Mr. Musick or Coach was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. With only the weekend to process, he was admitted to the hospital to prep for surgery. During the days prior to this very unexpected surgery, we prepared for the worst and prayed for the best possible outcome. We ended up somewhere in the middle. During an 8 plus hour surgery, the DR.'s removed a kidney, some lymph nodes, and a thrombus that was blocking a valve to his heart. We were told the first hurdle is cleared and now he has a fighting chance.
There are still lesions on a couple of major organs that they determined would best be treated by Biological Therapy. He is in ICU recovering and will continue to spend the next few months following the treatment plan. Even with insurance, the costs of all of the medical procedures add up.
To make him more comfortable for recovery at home, money will also be used to purchase a recliner, new bed, and a bathroom remodel.
Our dad just finished his 40th year teaching at Lakeland Christian School and when he learned of his diagnosis he asked the doctor when he would be able to return to the classroom. Praying that everything goes well and according to plan, he will be back to school in January.
We appreciate all of the texts, calls, visits, and especially the prayers. Thank you for thinking of our family during this time and we are grateful for all of you. Anything that you can give will be a tremendous blessing to our mom and dad.
