Help Milen with crazy hospital fees

I was touched by the tragic and sad story of Milen Trifonov Family and I can not accept that nice people have to suffer like that.
Deeply from my heart I hope we could help them and show that there is always a way!
The story in brief: Milen Trifonov lost his father and has to pay more than 200 000$ to the hospital to cover all related cares and expenses.
This Montreal West Island immigrant family has invited their parents from Bulgaria to spend great summer moments together, but instead, all their lifes changed dramatically.
During family supper time Milen's father had a heart attack and felt on the floor. His heart stopped. He was brought back to life after hard cardiac massages work and reanimation. He was hospitalized and his condition was stabilized.
Looked like a success story, but the joy was not for long!
Because his father was not a Canadian resident and medical fees are expensive in this case they have decided to transfer him into Bulgarian hospital.
Everything was fast and well organized and they have paid 30 000$ for last minute flight tickets with special medical care transportation and assistance back to Bulgaria. An ambulance was supposed to wait at the airport and to transfer him to a hospital there.
Unfortunately the doctor refused to sign the release documents due to his father health complications and pneumonia.
His father had to stay at the hospital for 48 days.
Milen's father passed away in the hospital and Milen has not only to manage his lost, but he has to deal with high hospital expenses - more than 200 000$.
They had a health insurance, but can not cover this high amount.
During their hospital stay they were told that a human approach will be applied and it won't be very expensive.
Milen Trifonov Family is organizing the funeral process, documentation and procedures and the returning of his widowed mother to Bulgaria .............
Milen Trifonov Family is trying to negotiate the amount with the hospital, but for the moment they are refusing to meet him ................
Milen Trifonov Family is fighting with the flight company to recover a part of the amount of the non used tickets due to this special health situation ...............
Milen Trifonov Family is meeting professionals to explore different possibilities. Lawyers services are expensive too. He is searching for a legal help .................
They have to cover a lot of high expenses, related to this sudden and tragic situation .............
And not to forget that he is dealing with such a big lost - his father!
