Help Michael get to Energy Breakthrough

Donation protected
Michael is my nephew and has Autism, sensory processing disorder and according to the pediatrician says a bitsa! Like most children with difficulties he misses out to the children. Michael is accepted into this huge event it will be lifechanging for him like most children with difficulties he misses out to the children who do not face the same challenges
We are in and he is going he tries out for everything at school the swimming team, athletics being a school tour guide and always misses out to the children who are not challenged... I am so very happy for him but with his challenges it will be really hard even though he wants this! I have said there is a lot of training and extra school work he says "I don't care" I want to do this! So here we go to Maryborough!!!!! . due to his anxieties just cannot camp with the rest of the school - so I am looking for a little help and wanting to raise some funds to be able to take him to the event, book into a motel so he can have his down time and not have total sensory overload! He will go and do this but hoping for the load to be a little lighter! So if there’s a chance for some help no matter how small thank you!

The Energy Breakthrough is a joint initiative of the Country Education Partnership (CEP) and the Central Goldfields Shire Council (CGSC).
Since 1991, the Energy Breakthrough has provided opportunities for students, teachers, parents and local industry to work together to design and construct a vehicle, a machine or innovation in technology that will represent an ‘energy breakthrough’.
The program is unique in that all teams must compete across three areas of assessment: Design and Construction, Display and Presentation and Trials.
The Energy Breakthrough isn’t just a once-a-year event. School groups work throughout the year to design, build and test machines within detailed specifications. The program encourages participants to examine and use the latest technology while considering its impact on the environment and the way people live locally and globally. It requires a team effort and an across-the-curriculum approach. These groups then bring their vehicles and machines to Maryborough in Victoria for a huge celebration in which they can demonstrate and trial them in action.
