Help Melissa Get Her MRI

This Go Fund Me campaign is for the purposes of allowing Melissa to afford an MRI that will help her to apply successfully for SSA Disability so she can get the long-term help her condition will need.
Since September of last year, Melissa has been unable to work due to severe MS-like symptoms. And while she has been able to continue to live with the support of her loved ones there has not been enough money to get her properly diagnosed for disability.
This all started in early 2017 when Melissa decided to move to Vermont to live with her boyfriend and try to get a new start. Unfortunately, the house they were living in had toxic black mold present in the walls, unknown to them. This started a slow decline, from an active nurse to someone who can barely walk on their own.
What started as fatigue and occasional pain has progressed to MS-like symptoms and early signs of Macular Degeneration. She had been patient up to this point with trying to get disability to assist with her MRI to confirm her condition, but time has become shorter.
For this reason, she is requesting your help in clearing this last hurdle towards getting disability and the help she needs. The faster she can get the MRI, the faster she can get all the help she needs. All the proceeds will be going to this purpose, as it is simply the last and largest step to getting help. Any additional funds given will be put towards quality of life improvements (wheelchair, medications, etc).
