I have started collection for my sister in law Sandra Sobczak who is only 25 years old.
Up until January 2016 she was leading normal life. Continued studying, planning the wedding day for summer 2016, looking forward to future just like most of us.
Since January 2016 Sandra started to feel very sleepy throughout the daytime and struggling to sleep at night. She experienced new symptoms of numbness to hand, tremor, neck pain. Initially she put it all down to stress related to studies and exams.
Sandra had several visits at the GP surgery after which she felt ignored and not listened to. She demanded blood tests etc. Same were started and following numerous examinations including CT head she heard the results in June 2016 - GLIOMA STAGE 2. The whole world collapsed within seconds. Brain cancer destroyed all the plans.
Sandra underwent brain surgery and was slowly recovering.
Despite the diagnosis Sandra and her fianceė got married in August 2016. Hoping for.... happily ever after she thought they have won the battle.
But during one of many follow up appointments Sandra's nightmare came back - CANCER is growing! Further surgery is not an option at the moment. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy isn't effective.
Alternative treatment is very expensive but we desperately need to try every possibility to keep her alive and well.
Every penny counts so please help us fight cancer as there is hope.
Sandra will not give up easily. She has whole, happy life ahead so please help us in our battle.
Sandra's biggest dream is to live - we all can help to make her dream come true.
