Please help us start a Freethinker group in Kingman, Arizona!
Hello, we are the Kingman Freethinkers, a nascent secular social group but, we need startup funds. Can you help us?
Kingman (The Heart of Route 66) is a rural town in northwest Arizona. It is the seat of Mohave County located in the Mojave Desert along Interstate 40, and is home to the longest continuous stretch of historic Route 66.
Our dream is to build a house of fellowship in Mohave County to serve us and our local community.
Churches provide important services to their congregations and their communities. Kingman Freethinkers want to do that as well. Our group's vision is to provide a place for Sunday gatherings, a secular celebrant for life events, a scholarship program, a summer camp and so much more.
In order to reach these goals, we are working to raise startup funding to: create a proper nonprofit organization, open a small business checking account, obtain liability insurance for events, pay for some social media and print marketing, obtain affiliations with national organizations, travel and meeting room expenses (it's a big county).
