Help me save Sona

Donación protegida
I never thought I would do this and don't want to inconvenience anyone, but one of the things I am learning these days is that sometimes you need to ask for help. For those of you who don't know I have a five year old dog named Sona who is very beloved, and he nearly died today. . I have struggled for years with bipolar disorder and Sona is a registered emotional support animal (I have medical professional documentation for him). He has saved me many times over and helped add joy, stability, consistency, and love to parts of my life that were very difficult. I wouldn't share this sob story if it weren't important; Sona is quite literally the lynchpin in my (successful) recovery and functionality as a person. . . Today (July 31) Sona was bitten by a copperhead snake at Big Soddy Creek Gulf and came close to dying. Elliot and I carried him over a mile and got him to a vet where they had antivenin and he is getting better slowly, with his prognosis tentatively looking good. I consider that a miracle in itself and am so so grateful he is alive. . . However, antivenin is of course very expensive and his vet bills will total over $2000. If anyone has anything to spare to help Sona I would be incredibly grateful. I have a job that I love but which offers pretty limited resources, and having spent the last year as an NSS intern I have few savings. Anyone who donates will get a thank you note with a puppy picture and will be the recipient of my eternal gratitude. Additionally if anyone has work I can do remotely or in the Chattanooga area I would love to do whatever I can.
