Help me save my mother's home

One year ago, my mother who worked for 27 years as our Building Superintendent was fired without warning or reason. We were issued a formal Notice of Eviction with two weeks to vacate our apartment. Despite the fact that our apartment was rent stabilized, the landlord refused to acknowledge our tenancy. Some good neighbors helped us to find a lawyer, but the landlord refused to settle and we are forced to go to trial. We are out of resources, the person who promised to help us with our trial retainer fees backed out at the last minute. Our lawyers need these fees in the next six weeks so they can begin to prepare for our trial. Believing our situation to be safe, we assured them that this would not be a problem, and that we would have the money. However, this is no longer the case. If we do not go to trial, we will be forced into homelessness. Any donations to our funds would be most greatly appreciated in our darkest hour.
