Help Me Republish My LGBTQ Children’s Book!

A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to self-publish my own children’s book, “The Tale of Two Princes.” TTOTP is a beautiful LGBTQ story about two princes in love, but told as a classic fairy tale. I could not have made this wonderful story come to life, of course, without my amazing illustrator, Michael Hetrick, and through his artwork I believe “The Tale of Two Princes” is a valuable lesson not only in tolerance and acceptance, but the joy in forgiveness as well.
Last month, however—without warning!—our publishers went out of business, removing all of our hard work from any available sources. In what felt like a flash, our dream had been taken away more easily than it took to bring out book to life. Now, Michael and I are back to square one with “The Tale of Two Princes,” but this time we want to make it better.
With you’re help, we’re hoping to republish our children’s story, this time with print-on-demand services. We also wish to make our story available on more platforms (i.e. Apple Books, Barnes & Nobles, Amazon, etc.). But naturally, it’s going to be costly again.
With a dream like ours, no donation is too small. And don’t forget about our plans to always donate some of the proceeds back to the LGBTQ-mmunity. Michael and I still hope to do that with this reprint, because we know what it’s like to be less fortunate than the rest of us. Many of us STILL aren’t accepted for who we truly are, or even who we want to be. Yet all of us deserve to dream.
