Hello! My name is Tin. I am from Houston, TX and I am currently trying to march the 85th Anniversary and my 2nd season with The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps! I will be spending my entire summer rehearsing 14+ hours a day to perfect a 13 minute marching performance. We travel across the nation to perform in the largest venues in America in front of thousands of people!
Marching drum corps has always been a dream of mine ever since I saw my first video in 2014. My first live show was in 2016 and the corps that really stood out to me was the Cadets. They moved like there was no tomorrow and their hornline was magnificent to say the least. From the stands I knew that they had to have put in so much work to be able to do an activity that was that intense. From that moment on, I knew that it was something I wanted to be a part of. I was determined to make my dream come true. And I did(:
My educators have always been a huge part of my musical journey. They’ve taught me many great things to help prepare me for my future. I wish to one day take on a similar role by becoming an educator myself. Marching drum corps will provide me with experience and knowledge that I will be able to use in the near future. Drum corps has always been my dream but getting to march the 85th Anniversary with The Cadets will be something that I will hold on with me forever. Help me become a part of History.
