I just came from the doctor, and decided to change the category of this campaign from "Medical" to "Business".
My doctor says I have no M.S. symptoms at this time (I was diagnosed two years ago), and I aim to keep it that way.
I have been teaching Metaphysics online for fifteen years, and I intend to keep on doing that. However, my life needs some balance. Too much time on the computer is not healthy.
I have been pet sitting on the side for about ten years now. And I love it! Sometimes, now that Airbnb has become so popular, I also take care of the Airbnb guests as well. And I love that, too!
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Tiny Houses! I live in a 250 sq ft 1955 Vintage Trailer on a friend's property in the foothills of the Siskiyou mountains in Southern Oregon, on a creek.
With my friend's permission, I did the research to make sure a Tiny House could be added to the property, and be made available on Airbnb. I live close to Ashland, Oregon - home of the largest Shakespeare Fesitval in the world. Ashland is a thriving tourist destination, and people who offer Airbnb have no trouble getting full occupancy during the tourist season, as well as renters in the winter who want to escape the deep snow levels higher up.
I am currently applying for financing to purchase a Tumbelweed Tiny House that would cost about $80,000 delivered and installed. I don't have a credit rating after losing my home in the foreclosure crisis of 2007, so I am not holding my breath. I will have an update about that on July 6th.
Therefore, I am seeking independent funding here on GoFundMe as well.
