Help Me Help Nathan Hill

My son Matt's best friend, Nathan Hill was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer. He is just 17 years old. He is a special needs student at Beamsville District Secondary School. His family just moved to St Catharines from Smithville. His mom recently left her job and wants to be there for her son and all of his appointments. He has already has had lots of tests, CT Scans, X-rays, a bone scan, surgery to remove a tumour and has been in a great deal of pain. The tumour that was removed had already spread to his abdomen. The tumour in his abdomen is too big to do surgery on. The plan now is to do chemo so that he can have surgery to remove the tumour. This is taking a big toll on the whole family both emotionally and financially. Nathan was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday April 4th and it seems he will be in and out of the hospital in coming months. I know Mom and Dad don't want to ask for help, but they need things to be easier for them. I want them to not have to worry about all the costs for gas, parking, food, time off work etc. Please help me help them.
