Help Me Fight the Stigma on ED's

Hey there, I am Allie Duff! I am 24 turning 25, this year for my birthday I am asking that you celebrate this new year with me by donating to NEDIC - National Eating Disorders Information Centre. Over a year ago I opened up about my eating disorder, within the past year I have been to two different treatment centers and seen muliple therapists. My disoder took away so much from my life, to the point that I didnt think I would make it to my 25th birthday, but, I had enough fight in me to get here. I never new much about Eating Disorders until I started to receive treatment. There is not enough education out there on so many levels. So as I hit my birthday I want to make this a year of giving back and a year of awareness. It all starts with a conversation, allowing yourself to be that person for someone who is struggling and too afraid to reach out, raising your voice when it comes to mental illnesses and how you are really feeling. I share my story becauase I believe it will have an impact on someone suffering with an eating disorder and I believe it will help fight the stigma around this awful and damaging illness. Help me fight the stigma by donating to NEDIC to help educate people all over the country and to also help increase the resources and support for people struggling, you can make an impact, you can help save a life! I appreciate every single person who has supported me so far on my journey to recovery and I know that there is so many people out there that need that as well.
