Help me buy a ZOO... Please!!!

Ok.... so here is the deal. There is this awesome zoo. It is right down the road from my house. It is amazing. It is my happy place. It has been one of my favorite places to visit since I was a kid. My kiddo loves to go there! Every time I have ever been there I just couldn't stop thinking "How awesome would it be to live here and run this place!?!?" And now.. it is FOR SALE! For the low low price of $7 million I could own my very own zoo. I, however, do not have $7 million .... I know you are super shocked about that. Hence, the GoFundMe begging for your help!!!
I NEED to buy this place!
IF I can raise $10 million.... I can buy the zoo, cover the GoFundMe fees, and build a house on the property for my son and I (there is currently a tiny apartment.. but we would need a small house) ... and here is the majorly important part..... I could also build a facility for my non-profit animal rescue.
My mom and I run Mutt Mesh Animal Rescue. We, and our amazingly loyal, fabulous, hard working (and small) group of dedicated volunteers (seriously there about 10 of us helping on a regular basis and 4 of those are kiddos from 6-16) rescue dogs from high kill shelters in our area and help them to find loving homes. We have saved about 300 dogs this year alone... with just 10 people helping on a regular basis.... yes you read that right.. 300! And those are just the dogs our rescue actually took in and rehomed. That doesn't count the ones we have networked through our adopt to rehome program at GCARC, the ones we have shared online to help find a family, the ones we have transported or fostered for other rescues, or the ones we have emailed to random strangers to convince them to foster, adopt, or pull with their rescue... those are just the ones we put through our program. (I promise I have a point, so hang in there....)
If we could do ALL OF THAT with just 10 people, half of which are kids, and a few acres of land... and a LOT of determination..... just imagine what we could do if I could build a FACILITY and we could have more volunteers!!!! Can you picture it? Because I can and it is amazing!!!!
IF I can raise $10 million and buy this zoo I would be applying for 501c3 status for the zoo.... to use this business to help fund our rescue efforts.... if approved all of your donations would be a tax deduction... which would be fabulous. If that part doesn't work out you would still be helping me fulfill two amazing life long dreams... one being to own this awesome zoo and two being to have a rescue facility to help homeless dogs (and if we get a place we can help cats too!!)
So, now do you see why this is such a BIG deal? I am not completely insane..... I know that $10 million is A LOT of money. Especially when you factor in that I am asking friends, family, and complete strangers to help me raise the funds. But when you think about how many people there are on this planet and just how many donate small amounts daily... do you see my point? It IS possible!
I am asking, ok maybe begging, if you are able to donate please do! If you cannot donate please share! You may have friends who read this and like my crazy dream just enough to want to help me out! How amazing would it be to wake up one morning really soon and tell my sweet little 6 year old son that we get to buy a zoo!!!!?!?!? You probably can't tell from the picture, but he is fabulous with animals.. seriously... if any kid should grow up at a zoo.. it is MY KID!
Aside from building a house and a rescue facility I would like to have some money on hand for updates and renovations... and also to have a nice vetting fund for emergencies... I have not priced a vet visit for a rhino yet, but I am sure that it isn't cheap! That is why I am asking for $10 million rather than just the $7 million needed to buy the actual zoo... we need a safety net! This business is profitable... so we will be able to sustain the zoo and care for the animals with the income coming in without constantly having to ask for donations. The goal here is to make this a non-profit and to make regular donations to Mutt Mesh from the zoo fund.
I will post updates with pics of the zoo and info on our plans as often as possible..... but the important thing here is that I really really NEED y'all to help me share this page!!!! Please donate if you are able and help me make this happen!!! I am hoping that this thing moves fairly fast so that I do not miss out on this amazing opportunity.. I checked and it IS still avaialble as of right now! The faster I can buy this zoo the faster I can build a facility and the faster we can start saving more lives!!!
