Help me buy “A Place to Play”

Family, friends, and island family I have come to ask you all for your help!
I am reaching for the stars here, trying to make a long life dream come true.
“A Place to Play” has been posted for sale and I know I’m not alone in feeling a sense of panic when hearing that, Cathy has been an angel and blessing to our community and starting a place to play was something that was so selfless and giving to all of us.
Panic is exactly what came when I heard the news, since then I have had meetings, chats, phone calls and long talks to make this happen. It is with complete and utter devastation that alone I obviously do not have the funds. Some options have fallen through.
As most of you know I have forever wanted to be a mom, I have been blessed in my life to be around children and now, have two beautiful babies of my own. I attended college for early childhood education before my wondeful life as a mother began and have certification and an extensive background in being involved with young kids.
My dream has always been to have my own space for kids to learn and grow, and supporting and extending myself to our community.
Cathy has made a business that (I for one) we can not live without, and yes someone else with deep pockets could come along and buy it, we would all be happy, but would you know them? Would you know their family? Maybe, but you know me. I am here and I am here to be a part of your lives, and help build this wondeful business even more.
My plans would be small at first; change some hours, add some days and cater to our community. “A place to Play” is still open because of you, the locals, the young families, the grandparents, the hard working caregivers.
If the full funds are not raised, some funds may be enough to allow for a deposit and for me to work there to pay the rest, if not enough is raised for either, any funds will be donated to Island Rec.
Help me, help you, and keep this gem in good hands.
