Help Me Bring This Little Pup Home!

We were outside of our base in Afghanistan scouting out an area and saw some movement in the deep snow. Upon closer inspection, we saw a tiny head pop out of the snow. It was an adorable puppy who was nestled between two other puppies who had frozen to death. There had been a snow storm the night before, trapping the three of them out in the middle of it. Because of her two brothers ultimate sacrifice, she was kept warm through the night and was able to survive. We wrapped her up and brought her back to our base. She was barely able to stand and was extremely malnourished. We nursed her back over the next couple of weeks and she is now a loving puppy who wants lots of love and attention from us. She means the world to me now, to see her strength to recover and bounce back at such a young age is an inspiration.
She was recently brought to Kabul to the first and only Animal Rescue in Afghanistan called Nowzad! This NFP helps soldiers reconnect with their pups back in the States by providing all the necessary shots, care, and travel back to the soldiers home. It is an expensive process and cost about $4,000. Anything and everything helps! The faster the money is raised, the faster this little girl can come home to the US!
