Help Mazie Girls end hunger!

Mazie Girls are raising money for the SF-Marin Food Bank. We are three 7th grade girls who want to help our community in a meaningful yet creative way. We want to reduce plastic waste, encourage youth to engage with their communities, and help tackle food insecurity in one of the most affluent areas in the US.

We are printing limited edition tote bags to sell at Farmers Markets throughout the Bay Area for 5 weeks in August and September. Help us raise money for our first print run. Donate $20 and get one of our adorable tote bags mailed to you! 100% of the proceeds go to the SF-Marin Food Bank.

Mazie Girls began with Audrey and Sophie drawing pictures of their classmates, during class. Sophie digitized the monsters and started printing them on cloth tote bags at her summer camp. Audrey continued expanding her array of monsters day after day.  Meanwhile Elizabeth, a successful Girl Scout, was selling 1000’s of boxes of cookies. One day, we realized that between our three skill sets, we had the makings of a business team.

We developed a range of top quality bags that will get years of good use. We then partnered with the SF-Marin Food Bank to bring our tote bags to the Bay Area and are donating 100% of the proceeds to them.

For every $20 bag we sell, we can donate $11 to the Food Bank. For every $1 we donate, the Food Bank can purchase $5 of food. The more bags we print, the more money per bag we can donate, because the costs of production go down.
