Help Matt and his Family Get an Apartment
Donation protected
My name is Matt Ketchum. I am a thirty year old gay man with severe generalized anxiety disorder,
and I need help.
I had posted a gofundme a while ago to try and keep the house I was living in, supporting a disabled loved one and an aging family member, and the truth is, it failed.
In 2017, we had two serious car crashes. Both of the cars our household had were totaled. We managed to rally from that, only for the next year to have furnace problems, burst pipes, and serious hospitalization of my roommates father who owns the home. All in all, after all of it, we were deep in the hole and in trouble. Rather than try and keep the home, we decided to move.
Unfortunately, before we could find a place, the bank moved on our home, and now we are scrambling to find a place.
We aren't yet out on our ass. And with three people working, we should be able to match the first month on our own on an apartment. But with the debts totaling nearly 7000 dollars, we're digging out using a teaspoon.
That's where this comes in.
I'm reaching out again, into the world, hoping that we can get some help. Any help. I hate having to ask again, but if we can get enough together to match our first month with security deposit, I can safely get us an apartment in the time we have left. In addition, this will help us have a more sturdy jumping off point to get a car, food, and to pay down our debt.
We have until the end of June to move out, but the sooner we can leave, the easier it will be on myself and my family.
Please, if you can spare anything, it helps. If you can only boost this, do so. And even if you only read this, thank you for your time.
