Maple's Medical Fund

About a month ago, my sister, her boyfriend, and I found an 8 week old German Shepard puppy and decided to take her in. She was a bit underweight and what we assumed to be the runt of the litter. My sister had always wanted a German Shepard and we figured maybe it was just meant to be. We had adopted our other dog when she was four years old so we wanted to experience the excitement of raising our first puppy together. We became attached to her affectionate personality very quickly.
We later found out that Maple had a very, very bad parasite infestation which caused her to lose weight rapidly, lose energy, and become very lethargic. We were so scared we were going to lose her, but with antibiotics, injections, frequent check up visits along with a hefty vet bill, she made it through. We also discovered a hernia on the center of her stomach, and developed a bit of a skin disorder where bald patching occurs around her nose and mouth. Overall, her medical history in the last four weeks has given us all a lot of stress but we have already invested so much into her and we really do not want to give up.
Fast forward to present day, within the last 24 hours Maple has come into contact with a foreign source that has left her throat and jaw extremely swollen and has the possibilty of affecting her heart and lungs. We initially thought it was a bee sting but the veteranarian told us she wouldn't have been in a whole lot of pain if it was a bee sting. Our baby Maple was almost unrecognizable because of the swelling. We have taken her to an emergency vet clinic where she will stay overnight. She's already been treated with Benadryl, Torbugesic, and Acepromazine to try aiding the swelling and pain. In addition to that, the clinic has to do a series of blood tests to determine the cause as well as keep her on IV fluids.
In total, we've spent roughly $800 on medical expenses alone, and her overnight stay is going up to $774. Any help that we can receive to go towards Maple would be amazing. She's had a really awful rough start in life and the procedures she'll be recieving will ultimately turn a new leaf for her.
