Lily is a bright, sweet girl that is going through the hardest thing a child can go through. She has been sent to B.C. Children’s Hospital to battle Stage 4 Burkett’s Lymphoma. She is in the fight of her life, for her life. Her parents and family are beside her. She is uncomfortable, scared and wants to go home, but she must stay, and her family needs to be by her side.
The costs associated with being in another city, away from work and home adds up quickly, hotels, meals, ferry costs. Please consider supporting her and her family. There is nothing so noble as those who stupe so low to lift up a child.

Update day 71
It’s been awhile since i posted because things were up and down with Lily but as of today I’d say she is doing much better.
The last 3 weeks she had a strep infection on her central line which they caught fast (she was having fevers and high heart rate ) and started antibiotics .Lily is still with tummy pain and not eating any foods yet . Nausea was really bad for awhile but is now calmed down a bit . Lily had some more mouth sores but not as bad as last time thank goodness however she didn’t talk for about a week .
She had been peeing blood which was super scary we’re not even really sure what caused that but she does have a virus called BK that could of caused it .
Lily developed a bad back rash and we don’t know if it was a side effect from her chemo or from lying on her back for so long but it’s starting to fade away .
As of today the dietician has decreased her tpn and lipids which is great because Lily has been able to have her feeds increased a bit more and hold it for longer periods of time .
Dr are also is weaning Lily slowly off of her pain med .
We are so happy today as Lilys counts have started coming in so her energy levels should go up and her immune system can start fighting off bugs and her body can heal where it needs to . With that said she will have to start her 3 rd round of chemo when her numbers are at their highest (maybe in 1.5 weeks ).
Lily also has been doing physiotherapy everyday she has only been able to take a few steps here and there in her room so hoping this week she can walk out of her room that would be amazing .
The picture I posted of lily and I was taken before she started round 2 of chemo so 3 weeks ago she had her first outing outside for a bit . We had a great time but it was cut short for a bit because she had her NG slip down the side of her wheelchair and it got caught in the tire and ripped right out of her nose/throat it was pretty traumatic for her . Lucky enough she didn’t have to go through the torture of having it put back in awake the drs were able to have it inserted while she had been put to sleep for her lumbar chemo.

Thank again to everyone for showing us your support through this . Lily loves seeing all the T-shirt’s that say be brave and Love for Lily it sure puts a smile on her ❤️
Thank you to all who had volunteered their time at the last bottle drive you are all amazing . Thank to all who donated bottles as well ❤️. My family and I are so thankful
