My parents, Len and Jan Scrogan, long-time educators for Boulder Valley Schools who are now retired, lost their entire home in the recent Marshall Fire that hit Louisville, Colorado. Everything was lost, and I mean everything. It’s such a high hurdle for retired folks to recoup, so we’d like to help them. After speaking with FEMA and other disaster specialists we are worried insurance won’t cover the cost of getting them back into a permanent home. The funds will be used for insurance deductible and any extra costs above and beyond insurance coverage. We would be very thankful for any and all help to get my parents back into a home. Thank you.
