Help Kirsten beat cancer

My name is Kirsten Buette.  In February 2019, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which required a double mastectomy and the removal of 19 lymph nodes. Since the surgery, I have been undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, and I’m now three quarters through a 20 week regimen, plus a followup regimen of radiation treatment.

Unfortunately, this treatment has prevented me from working for the past three months, and our financial situation is becoming critical.  My husband and I are struggling to afford rent and utilities, and the car that takes me to treatment needs urgent maintenance that we can’t afford.


The $1000 goal will help us cover rent for the months of July and August of this year, at which point I’ll be able to return to work.  Any additional help will go towards groceries, utilities, and car repair to keep us going through the treatment period.

It pains me to ask for help from friends and strangers, but we’ve exhausted all other options for emergency funding.  Anything you can contribute is deeply appreciated, and will keep us going through this rocky period.
