Help Karma with a Bad Tooth!

Hello, my name is Peggy! You may also know me as Vana.

Karma is my roommate's and mine 10 year old Husky mix. He likes long walks on the beach, raising cats, squeaky toys, and sleeping the day away on his broken down couch we refuse to throw out for this reason.

Karma has been in our lives since he was approximately two years old, rescued from the Pittsburgh humane society. We don't know much about his history other than that he was raised with dogs and cats, giving him a sweet and easily trainable demeanor that is always eager to please. Since then, he's always been the lovable goofball in the household.

Recently we noticed Karma getting runny noses which we first thought were allergies or simply a result of him getting older. When these sinus problems worsened and he started to refuse his food, I started to research and examined his teeth. On the left side on his last molar, there's a slab fracture and underneath a decayed tooth which needs to be extracted.

Today (6/15/2017) we took him to the local vet and got an estimate on a tooth extraction. Due to his size, this is rather expensive, funds that me nor my roommate can afford under the current circumstances we've found ourselves in. Ultimately Karma is our responsibility and we're looking into all options to make him comfortable. The amount includes GoFundMe's percentage plus the high estimate for the tooth extraction. Any help would be so appreciated.
