Jordy's Journey to Recovery!

Our brother, Jordy Blundell was in a very bad accident on boxing day (the day after his 45th birthday).  The car he was in rolled over, crushing the roof and leaving him trapped inside the vehicle.  Emergency crews rushed him to hospital in Victoria where it was determined his injuries were severe and would require more specialized care, at which time he was medivaced to Vancouver. Our brother, who has always been the light in any room, has a smile nobody can ever match, has an attitude of perseverance and strength like no other and has a heart of complete gold has been left forever changed by this tragic event.  He has been left paralyzed and will need ongoing care and treatments of which the total costs can only be imagined at this point.    We have had so many calls from family and friends wanting to offer their support for Jordy that we thought starting this page would be not only a great way for them to offer their support but also for us to update the many concerned on his ongoing journey.
