Help Jessee Get A Laser Cutter

For the past year I have been a member of a makerspace specifically to use their laser cutter. It has become the highlight of my week and has given me a new creative outlet.
I have also used the laser cutter to help other small businesses by making promotional materials, custom quilt templates, signs and more. I would really like to continue this service! I never had small batch options like this when I first started and I want to be there for others now.
Pretty soon our family schedule will be changing drastically and I will be solo parenting during most of the week from home. This means I won't be able to drive down to the makerspace (which is 30-45mins away, one way) and my time on the laser cutter there will be very limited. It's much harder to schedule time at night too, that's usually when everyone else is on it.
My husband and I have talked it over, and decided that having a smaller version of the laser cutter in the home would be very beneficial to my business and my mental health. I really do get a lot of enjoyment being able to create such intricate and precise pieces all the time. We have specifically chosen the Glowforge Pro with filtration system. It is the closest I could get to wait I am use to working with, plus the filtration will mean my neighbors won't smell as much of the burning and acrylic smells.
Normally we would buy this ourselves, but as many of you may know my husband has been unemployed since January and we are kind of starting to get back on our feet. A $7k purchase isn't as easy as it use to be.
My original plan was just to work as much as I could with the limited time I will have and spend a lot of the summer at the makerspace making product to sell and fund this. It isn't idea dragging my daughter there all the time, but it's an option. I come from the DIY mindset and things like crowdfunding aren't an easy thing for me to agree to.
It took many emails and messages from friends wanting to help that I decided to try this out. This wont be my only source of funding, but it's here just in case!
So if you would like to help me out in getting this new tool into our home, I will forever be grateful!
