Help Jayne Elizabeth Cadey Walk Again

Jayne's story...
My name is Jayne Elizabeth Cadey and I am the longstanding partner of Tom Hall who has worked for Driver Hire Grimsby and Scunthorpe for some 21 years. In 2010 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, before then I was working and enjoying my life and my family - I valued my mobility and independence.
Last July I had a fall in my house which resulted in a spiral fracture to my left leg. I had to have pins and plates inserted running the length of my leg. This left me in hospital for three weeks. Since then I have been bedridden and unable to do anything for myself.
Before the fall I was able to cook, iron and use my mobility scooter to go to the Supermarket, meet friends for coffee and feel part of the outer world.
Driver Hire under its new owners Michael and Jayne Anne O’Flynn are well known for their community support since buying their business.
Last year Jayne came to see me to tell me that in 2019 Driver Hire would fundraise to help me walk again. I could see the passion in Jayne’s face, and I felt for the first time in six months that there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
What we raise will help me to walk again, as the money will help pay for private physiotherapy sessions, a specially designed massage chair and a mobility scooter.
