Help JayBird FIGHT Cancer

Donation protected
Jay has stage 4 cancer for which there is no cure that, unbeknownst to him or us, quietly spread to his lungs, kidneys, and liver. His diagnosis was unexpected and devastating. To make this even harder to process and accept, the delivery of the news lacked the empathy or respect that this man who lives for his wife, Marcy, and children, Curtis, Jayda, and Addy, deserves.

It's heart-wrenching to watch Jay rapidly decline in health. It's unthinkable for him to increasingly need to rely on family and friends to help him through. Movement is difficult; eating is an undertaking; and rest of any kind is uncomfortably impossibly.  BUT HE STILL FIGHTS FOR HIS LIFE!

We have witnessed God's goodness and grace in the short time since Jay's diagnosis on July 13th. When things seem to be approaching a despairing low, something happens-be it a handheld prayer with a stranger, an unexpected call from a concerned doctor, or simply an unusually cool breeze on a sweltering summer day-that reminds us of God's presence, renews our faith, and refills our hope. We cherish every day God gives us with our husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Of course, being the manly man that Jay is, his #1 concern is to still be a provider for his family and figure out a way to get back to work so the bills get paid.  We humbly ask for any help you can give so Jay can focus on getting better with the goal of adding many more years to his life.  We thank you for your kindness and are forever grateful for your support and prayers.
