Help Jan get to Chilliwack

On the 30th of January 2017 in Mojave, California Jan and Bob were on their way home from a short holiday. They stopped for the night and had dinner. While walking back across the road the were stuck by a car. Bob did not survive the accident and died at the scene. Jan was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital in critical condition not knowing whether she would survive as well.

After her initial trauma assessment she was rushed into surgery for damage to her liver. And had 2 more emergency surgeries after that. Jan has over 20 broken bones, including crushed ribs which required surgery to plate 5 of them, a crushed pelvis, which will require surgery once she is back in Canada, a broken ankle,  three breaks in one leg, a broken wrist and fingers.  

Bob and Jan purchased travel insurance prior to their trip but the severity of Jan's injuries has used all of it up, Jan is now facing excessive US medical expennses and the air ambulance costs.

Bob and Jan were married 54 year on the 26th of January and Jan is now missing her life partner.
