Help Issy gain independence!

Isabel is a 5 year old girl who has a life-limiting Illness of SMA type 2- this affects her muscles and is gradually going to deteriorate. She is a very bright little girl and attends the local mainstream school.
Her parents have been fighting to get their bungalow adapted for 4 years now- struggling with getting plans and details approved- it is a complex process which includes a lot of professionals who are all aiming to give her the independence she so desperately needs! They are hoping to have an extension purposely built for Issy- with a bathroom and bedroom with fully fitted hoists and facilities that she can use independently e.g a tap she can reach and turn on by herself- a simple thing that most of us take for granted!
They are close to being able for the work to start- with half of it being funded- leaving £25,000 that they have to self fund- they have saved up £10,000 so far but are £15,000 short.
Isabels family rarely ask for help but this would secure Issy’s future home for years to come- she is currently awaiting an operation on her spine (having metal rods to straighten it due to sclerosis) but they need the hoists and equipment this build will offer to enable her to return home- following the operation she cannot be lifted for 12 months- she currently sleeps in a mid sleeper and requires her parents to turn her during the night and lift her most of the time- the bathroom and her bedroom is too small for a hoist currently.
We would love to be able to help the build to go ahead and for Issy to get the independence she so desperately wants and needs!
