On the 26th of March, the Hall Family were faced with the most devistating experience. Their beautiful little boy Hunter, received severe burns to 12 % of his body which caused a rush by ambulance to Brisbanes Lady Cilentos Children's Hospital, to undergo a complex examination and commence extensive treatment.
Up to today, Hunter has undergone a number of surgeries to burns on his head, chest, left foot sole and right leg and foot. On Monday the 10th April, Hunter underwent 3 skin grafts to his right leg and foot. With further surgeries to come.
Mum Kerrie and his dad Mick are by his side and his brothers, Haedin, Cody and Joel are also there. We will be updating this page regularly.
The sooner we can begin to raise funds, the sooner we can start helping Hunter and the Hall family by way of providing him the required suitable sun care, clothing, and special shoes he needs.
We have already purchased the pram he requires, with an extra large sun shade and straightening support that he needs for his leg.
Accommodation is being provided by the Ronald McDonald House so his daddy and brothers can stay by his side in Brisbane for as long as necessary.
The caravan mortgage and bills are still going to roll in. Their trip around Australia has come to a sudden halt. Any financial assistance that can be provided will help Hunter and help relieve some of the stress that this family is currently undergoing.
My name is Kerrie Hall (Hunters Mum) also know as facebooks "touring six". After Hunters accident, I was advised to start a GoFundMe page whilst in hospital, under the help of a social worker.
Any financial assistance you can afford will help to put a smile back on little Hunters face. The monies received will be held in Hunters account until needed. ie: for medical, skin care and clothing needs over the next 5 yrs.
