My name is Alex. My mom (Hanna) has was diagnosed with Stage IV liver cancer in October of 2017 and basically is going to die soon. We are putting this fundraiser together in the hopes that this wonderful woman gets to live out her life-long dreams of going to Ireland before she passes away.
It’s always been her dream to visit Ireland, so much so that when she told me she had Stage IV liver cancer one of the first things I said to her was, “We gotta get you to Ireland!”.
She’s always talked and fantasized about taking a trip to where her ancestors are from, but never had the time or the money. She’s spent her whole life working to make sure my sister and I were always taken care of, supported, and encouraged to be the best we can be. She’s been the most wonderful, loving, and selfless person I’ve ever met in my life. She’s been so supportive of my dreams, and now I’m trying to make her dream become a reality before she passes.
The money would be put towards:
- Round Trip Business Class plane tickets for her and my father
- Hotel stay for 10 nights
- Car rental
- Food and beverage
- Spending money for souvenirs, tours, and more!
