Help get Tolly walking and wheeling

--RECENT UPDATE--

We are no longer getting a wheelchair for Toller. Whilst the wheelchairs made by Eddie's Wheels are fantastic, in the period of time we've been letting Toller walk on the ground (2x a day for 30 seconds as recommended) her foot has gotten much worse.

This led to us worrying even with most her exercise being carried out in a chair, and with that leg being strapped out the way, it is still just going to get worse and inhibit her life.

As a result, we're aiming at amputation. This is something we wanted doing immediately after her accident, but the vets wouldn't hear of it and said she would recover fine with crate rest.

We're aiming to get that pesky leg off asap. We're very scared as it's a big procedure, but it needs to come off and Toller will be so much happier without it. Please read our recent updates for more info!

--END OF UPDATE--

A few months ago, an unknown Labrador ran across the field and bowled into our very small puppy. She broke four bones in her front left leg.

She has finished a lengthy stretch of crate rest and unfortunately hasn't recovered as well as we were hoping, and the vet has said there is nothing more they can do on their end.

Toller is 7 months old and the sweetest dog you could ever meet. She is loving, intelligent and loves to be active...the vet's solution of limit her time on the floor to a minute is not feasible and incredibly sad. We were told Toller would make a full recovery and be able to enjoy walks, now we're being told she most likely won't walk more than a few minutes again in the house, and adventures outdoors are not an option.

I have cried SO MUCH over this, there isn't a dog that deserves any of this less than Tolly.

We are now looking into a front wheeled cart so that her injured leg will be held out of the way and protected, but Tolly will be able to run, explore, and enjoy life. She would be able to go out, in a cart, tommorow if possible.

At the moment she spends roughly18-19 hours in her crate (with chews and puzzle feeders) because being held leaves her frustrated and miserable. We carry her on walks, hold her in the house, try play with her...but she is so bored. Kongs, knuckle bones, nothing holds her attention at all anymore, she has no interest in them. We're trying so hard to stimulate her.

A wheelchair would allow her to get out, be mobile, and BE A DOG!

We have bought a standard, basic £70 front-wheeled cart online to see how it works in the meantime, this will be arriving 2-5th May. I emailed half a dozen companies that make wheelchairs for dogs asking if they produced front-wheeled carts, and only one did - Eddie's Wheels, based in the US.

Pricing for a cart WITHOUT adjustments or postage tends to be £250-350.  I don't have a quote from Eddie's Wheels (where we will most likely be buying from) as they only give them out once they have the dog's measurements, disability and requirements. You can view their site here:

You can see his front wheeled carts here:

As soon as I have an estimated price, I will share it.

We will be totally open with costs and expenses. GoFundMe and some incredibly kind donors have changed our life before and we would never want to abuse it.

Thanks everyone who has read this!
