Help get Mike Ring and his son home

Mike Ring and his 18 year old son drove their van full of equipment from Wisconsin to fufill a dream of racing their karts at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey. Sadly Mike was involved in a serious incident that has put him in the hospital. He has spent 2 nights in ICU with a blood spot on the brain and multiple broken bones. At this point he is stable but we are not sure when he will be released.
With those symptoms I don't see him being able to drive across the country anytime soon.
I would like to raise enough funding to provide air fare to get a family member here to California to assist him. I would like to be able to fly them all home and possibly ship the van back. They will also need help with hotel and food costs while they wait for Mikes release.
I'm asking our karting community to come together to aid one of our fellow racers,
