Diagnosed with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma over 3 years ago, Gavin has been incredible and bravely faced the challenges and uncomfortable ailments brought on by his cancer and the treatments. It has been the prayers, great doctors, chemotherapy, stem-cell transplant and ongoing monthly oncology treatments, medications and targeted supplements that has kept him smiling and with us.
Unfortunately, all this has added up and becoming increasingly difficult to afford. To maintain the medical insurance and the out of pocket expenses for all his treatments and medications/supplements have accumulated to over $40,000 AUD.
So after 3 years of fighting this alone, we have decided to open the door to any friends and family who are in a strong position to help (it was not an easy decision as we have always been an intensely private family). We understand that times are tough for so many people these days, so please only help if you can.
