Joelson Venancio is a Brazilian young man that came to Carbonear , Newfoundland , Canada in 2015/16 to Learn English , his goals were to learn to speak English in hopes to get into Medicine in College then become a surgeon .
His goal to learn to speak English came easly, he lived with us for 5 months while attending school in Carbonear and leaving a great impression as a determine young man that was set on meeting his goals.
This pass 24 hours has been tragic for Joelson and his family , Brazil Northern coast was drowned in heavy rains , sending flood waters into homes , mudslides and huge damage. Joel returned home yesterday to his home destroyed , they are staying with neighbours , Joelson is only a teenager and from the pictures you can see the damage this family is faced with . All his belongings are gone , destroyed .
I like to set up a fund to send to his family to help with the cost of rebuild or lodgings while they await help.
I ask if you can donate 1 dollar it be a help to this very deserving , kind family .
Ariely Caricio is a female student from Brazil that attended Ascension in Bay Roberts ! Ariely and her family also are faced with huge loss , this campaign will now go to help both students .

We will insure all money gets directly to Joe and his family . His dream is to return to Canada as a Doctor , maybe we can help him recover a little faster so he can concentrate on his goals in Education .
