Help CPS Music Programs

Tax deductible
My name is Fred Jones aka Ajani Jones, I am currently a Songwriter & Rapper from Chicago’s South Side.
I know what the Poetry Club at my high school did for my personal outlook on life. As a former CPS student I’ve seen the enormous challenges that kids face, I transferred schools multiple times because of some of these. Currently my younger siblings are all either on their way to high school or in it now. We all know this is the time when we make pivotal choices that shape who we are as adults.

Music Education has been shown to increase test scores and even neural capacity in children. After hearing about the Children’s First Fund through Chance The Rapper's heroic donation to Chicago Public Schools I knew this was a cause I could relate to. So I have decided to partner with Columbia College's Music Business students to put together a fundraiser and concert to help raise money and awareness for music programs in underfunded southside areas. Enabling kids to find the comfort and safe space provided through music, performance, and creative expression that every child deserves.

Every dollar donated goes to CPS Music programs in underfunded areas through the CPS Children’s First Fund. No Donation Is Too Small!!
