Help fund Coco's recovery and imidiate care needs

My dad came home one day last week and said he had something he wanted to talk to me about which might change our lives. I was slightly concerned with what he might say but he told me about Coco a beautiful 8 year old Shar Pei with a perfect temperament. She is so lade back and easy going.
He continues to tell me that coco's owner had left her with someone and refused to take her back and said if she did then she would put her down or leave her to run into the road, she wanted nothing to do with her after having her for 8 year. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
We imidiately when to visit her and her energy was so laid back and easy going it gave me a positive hope she would be able to be introduced into our home with my Staffordshire bull Terrier Rocky.

So we decided that we would try and introduce Coco and Rocky by going for a walk together the next morning and they seem to be getting on very well.

We decided to take her into our home and see if she would settle. After a short time she was settled and seemed to be comfortable being here and her and rocky were fine together everything seemed to be going great.

A few hours later I noticed Coco had fleas. As it was the weekend I called the local pet groomer who fit her in immediately for a flea bath and clean as she really needed a bath aswell. When I went to collect her they said she was the perfect dog. She let them do everything they needed without complaint but she was riddled with fleas and had poor skin.
After having the bath she seemed to be a completely different dog so much happier and comfortable.
So first thing Monday after seeing a couple more fleas and obtaining her medical records we booked her in with the local vet Havens to get her treated and checked.
Her recored showed she had not had an annual booster since 2017. This ment she needed to start the booster process again.
The vet examined Coco and found that she had very poor skin condition and it had an Infection. This could partly be due to the fleas as we didn't know how long she had them. She has bearly any fur left on her tail.
He gave me the option to do the boosters or the infection on her skin as both could be done at the same time.
I then remembered that I wanted him to check Coco's ears aswell as I had a feeling they was not right, as soon as he looked into her eyes he said straight away they were  infected.
There was not option we need to get the infections treated and help her be out of pain and a happy dog.
He prescribed an antibiotic tablet and ear drop antibiotic aswell as a steroid tablet for the itching. This was in addition to the normal monthly flea, wormer treatment.
The cost of this treatment was very high and obviously unexpected but we couldn't not give her the chance to be pain free and happy.
She has 3 weeks of the antibiotics and even after a couple of days on the medication she is coming out of her shell. She's more playfully and active.
We will see the vet again in 3 weeks to see if the antibiotics had worked. But she may need further treatment and if not she the vet stated Coco will also need maintenance of her ears with a daily sprays which is also an additional costs that I wasn't expecting when we decided to take Coco on.
We couldn't not help Coco and we want to see her better and in a happy, safe home where she can be the dog she was ment to be.
So, we are asking for your help to get Coco back to full health by helping to fund the medical expenses for Coco.
Even if it's just 50p or pound every little bit adds up and helps.
Maybe one day this week you could sacrifice your cup of coffee to help this beautiful playful dog get better.

Like i said after a couple of days having this treatment she's already running around being playful where's before she would just lie there and not move.
Coco is a beautiful dog with a great temerament we hope with your help we can continue to help her get back to being a healthy dog with a loving family including a big doggy brother Rocky who can teach her how to be a playful and loved.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any donations you may make we really appreciate your help!
