Help for the Chen Children

This morning, five children lost their father and caregiver. Mr. Chen served our community as a driver for Republic Services, Inc. Let's pay it back and help serve the needs of his family

I have been in touch with the Operations Supervisor at Republic Services on the best way to help the Chen children. She will be reaching out to the family in the coming days. In the meantime,  I would like to start by helping the family monetarily. When I am notified of other ways to help, I will certainly forward this information.

The Chen family has strong ties to Northern Frederick County. Let'a remind them that we stand with them.

I wish to state that I do not know the Chen's, unfortunately.  I wish that I did. After hearing so many wonderful memories of Mr. Chen, it is clear to me that he was a wonderful man who leaves behind some wonderful children.  

 I am currently working with Gofundme to have the campaign management transferred to the Chen's trusted family liaison, Tabby Jernigan Warnert. She is assisting Ron Chen with the family's needs. Ron is John's brother and will be the beneficiary of these funds, to be sure that they go directly to the children. Please watch for updates that the transfer has been completed.
